Barney Hunters Colorful Dreamer

Barney Hunters Colorful Dreamer (Barney Hunters Colourful Dreamer in the UK, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand) is the third season of Barney Hunters, it began airing on September 28th, 2018.

Plot

Hope and her friends Louise, Gabriella, Melinda, Alice, Aika and Melanie have become fourth years and are getting set for their final year in college. Before they can think about their futures, a new enemy, Negative Syndicate, appears, taking the hopes of the people of Earth. On top of that, three new warriors have appeared! The seven warriors of love and imagination must fight once again as well as find out if these warriors are friends or foes.

Characters

Hope Fujimori - the leader of the Barney Hunters. She started as a a solo fighter and became a leader to a group of six other girls.

Louise Chiba - an aspiring fashion designer and the second of the Barney Hunters team. She dreams of becoming an international fashion designer once graduating and takes fashion courses throughout the season.

Melinda Aino - the school sweets queen and the third Barney Hunter. She aspires to move to Paris and become a famous patissere.

Gabriella Yumehara - the intern writing genius and the fourth Barney Hunter.

Alice Kino - the loner turned social butterfly at school. She becomes the fifth Barney Hunter after overcoming feelings of loneliness.

Aika Martin - The Japanese British intern and the sixth Barney Hunter. Originally hailing from Tokyo but moving to a small town between Manchester, Liverpool and London as a child with her Japanese mother and British father, Aika is one of two foreign exchange students at the University.

Melanie Franz - the niece of Azalea and her little hen and the executive of Lyrick Studios in Germany. She is the second foreign exchange student and is still learning many American traditions.

Evangeline Matsumoto - one of the three inverse Barney Hunters, the daughter of a rich millionaire. She is in the school business program.

Ivy Kiwani - Melinda's rival and the second of the new warriors.

Lily Hinomori - The third of new warriors.

Barney - a jovial purple dinosaur from the Lyrick Kingdom.

Baby Bop - a yellow blanket loving dinosaur

BJ - an athletic dinosaur

Riff - the last of the four original dinosaurs

Wallace - Emerald's dinosaur and Baby Bop's nephew from the future. He came with Emerald to ensure she would do alright in 21st century Earth.

Emerald Leach - Hope's daughter from the future. Although ten years old, she is mature enough not to be treated like an elementary school student but is still treated like one by Hope much to her annoyance. She is the future princess of the Lyrick Kingdom, and is learning from Hope and the other girls how to be a great warrior princess.

Music

The opening theme for episodes 1 to 25 is "Colorful Dreams Colorful Smiles" by Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. It changes from episode 26 to "FEVER DREAMER" by Mia Regina and is the opening theme through episode 52. The ending theme for this season is "Color" by i☆Ris.

Movies

Two Magical All Stars movies were announced, beginning with a special collaboration movie with the Character Counts collation, that was released shortly after episode 18's release, Magical All Stars the Movie: Character Counts! The Gathering of the Legendary Warriors! featuring the characters of Puzzle Squadron Piece Police, Barney Hunters Colorful Dreamer, Scholastic Angel, Shepherdess Dreamer, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch Splash, and Winx Club New Generation.

Another movie would be released that summer.

The main series movie, Barney Hunters Colorful Dreamer the Movie: Protect the Children's Wishes! The Spectacular Carnival of Dreams! released on June 1st 2019.

Sequel

A sequel was announced as the final season of Barney Hunters, Barney Hunters Shooting Stars.
